Comprehensive Board Review in Internal Medicine
Emory University School of Medicine
|
Comprehensive Board Review in Internal Medicine is an intensive program designed specifically for physicians who plan to take the American Board of Internal Medicine Certification Examination. Most of the material presented is in case-based format and includes such important topics as ophthalmology, office orthopaedics, gynecology, epidemiology and ethics. Special "visual" sessions are devoted to reviewing x-rays, ECG's, peripheral smears and cutaneous lesions. "Clinical pearl" sessions, reviewing important board-type information including test-taking skills, are provided, in addition to question and answer sessions.
The overall objective of the Emory Comprehensive Board Review in Internal Medicine is to successfully prepare physicians to take the American Board of Internal Medicine Certification and Recertification Examinations. In addition, internal medicine and all primary care physicians may elect to use this review as an efficient method to update and review their internal medicine knowledge. Included with this video or audio program is a concise syllabus with reproductions of slides from the board review course to be used as review material.
