Learning Objectives

After viewing this program, participants should be able to:
  • Utilize appropriate imaging examinations for a variety of clinical scenarios
  • Recognize and describe the key radiologic features of common and representative diseases of a variety of organ systems
  • Discuss the scientific evidence underlying the application of radiologic knowledge
  • Distinguish normal anatomy from pathology and imaging pitfalls

Accreditation

The University of Washington School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation

The University of Washington School of Medicine designates this enduring material for a maximum of 35.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The total credits are inclusive of 16.25 in CT, 20.75 in MR, 12.75 in Ultrasound, 4.75 in Nuclear Medicine, 1.0 in Non-interpretive Skills, and 2.25 in Breast Imaging (1.75 in breast MRI - also counted in MRI, and 1.75 in Breast Ultrasound - also counted in Ultrasound).

It is estimated that it should take the average learner 35.25 hours, including completion of the activity evaluation, to conclude the activity. CME credit is obtained upon successful completion of an activity evaluation (score of at least 70% correct or greater is required), as well as payment of a $45 processing fee.
