This program highlights fundamentals in all of the major radiologic areas, emphasizing recent technical advances and their applications for clinical diagnosis. In addition to formal didactic lectures on practical techniques and organ systems, this program course will feature multiple interesting-cases sessions covering each of the diagnostic specialties.

At the completion of this program, participants will have a greater knowledge of:
- Current concepts and recent advances in diagnostic radiology;
- The techniques of ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and interventional radiology;
- Interventional modalities and their appropriate uses;

Nurses: For purpose of recertification, the American Nurses Credentialing Center accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit issued by organizations accredited by the ACCME.
Technologists: This program is approved for AMA-CMA credit and will be accepted toward meeting the continuing education requirements of the ASRT. Technologists may report 43 ECE points in Category B if they listen to the entire program.
