Description
As Chairman and Neurologist-in-Chief of the Department of Neurology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Martin A. Samuels has helped train thousands of physicians. In this self study he provides primary care physicians, residents and students with a thorough update in neurology, including all the most common conditions that primary care physicians manage in clinical practice.
This activity begins with coverage of functional neuroanatomy and the neurological exam. Building from this base, Dr. Samuels surveys the common neurological conditions that primary care physicians manage such as dizziness, movement disorders, cognitive disorders, headache, and stroke. Throughout
the program Dr. Samuels provides guidelines to the accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
