- Review the clinical presentations, diagnostic criteria, and therapeutic options for uncommon infectious diseases
- Evaluate recent therapeutic developments in infectious disease and identify their role in the armamentarium
- Identify the clinical presentations of agents of bioterrorism
- Review the clinical syndromes of emerging infectious diseases
- Improve clinical capabilities by expanding an individual’s clinical database
- Improve scores of participating physicians preparing for the Infectious Disease certification or recertification exam
