Learning Objectives
After viewing this program, participants will be able to:
- Increase the confidence of differentiating benign from malignant breast
lesions
- Explore the use of digital imaging
- Examine multiple percutaneous biopsy techniques including stereotactic
guided, ultrasound guided, and MRI guided biopsies
- Evaluate multiple biopsy devices
- Provide an overview of pathological findings in breast disease
- Explore the role of the radiologist and breast surgeon in the workup of
breast disease
- Review the process for stereotactic and ultrasound accreditation
- Become familiar with the genetics of breast cancer

of MQSA mammography continuing medical education requirements: Digital Mammography:
Up to 2.25 credits total. Mammography: Up to 19 credits total. ACR Stereotactic
Breast Biopsy: Up to 1.5 credits total. ACR Breast Ultrasound: Up to 5.25 credits
total.

1, 2010
CME credit is obtained upon successful completion of a program evaluation. A
$30 processing fee must accompany the completed evaluation.
