Program Information
The program combines didactic lectures, case-based presentations, question–and–answer
sessions and meet–the–professor discussions providing a comprehensive
review of the practice of general surgery. An illustrative and complete syllabus
further reinforces your learning, and a new supplement to the course syllabus
is an exclusive Review Book – "Pearls for Surgical Examinations"
– which expands on the presentations and focuses on frequently asked questions
(FAQs).
A mock oral exam will help prepare participants for the examination portion
of the certification process. For physicians not actively preparing for examination,
the program provides a broad review of the current practice of general surgery.
