The Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Symposium is available in a variety of media formats to meet your needs—DVD, MP4, MP3, and audio CD.
The 10th Annual Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Symposium is intended for individuals actively engaged clinically or scientifically in diagnostic and therapeutic radiology, oncology, surgery, gynecology, family practice, and genetics.
Program Description
The optimal management of breast cancer is rapidly evolving. A multidisciplinary team of medical, surgical and radiation oncologists, pathologists, plastic surgeons and genetic counselors are routinely involved in offering treatment recommendations for individual patients with a diagnosis of breast cancer. With the emergence of prevention strategies, women at high risk of developing breast cancer are now evaluated for medical therapies, surgical options and lifestyle changes that may reduce their risk of developing breast cancer. This activity includes a forum of discussions and presentations in laboratory and clinical research concerning the care of patients with breast cancer.
