The goal of the Endocrinology & Metabolism Board Review activity is to provide participants with an intensive review of endocrinology and metabolism, which would also be helpful for certification. Faculty members were selected for their clinical and teaching experience. The program is heavily weighted to board simulation.

Objectives
After viewing this activity, participants will be able to:
- Describe diabetes control and complications
- Interpret tests to evaluate hypo- and hyperadrenalism and apply the results to endocrine hypertension
- Analyze thyroid tests and apply results to thyroid disorders
- Review evaluation and treatment of osteoporosis and calcium disorders
- Appraise patients with hypogonadism and pituitary disorders
- Diagnose important pediatric endocrine disorders
- Evaluate endocrine disorders during pregnancy
- Identify genetic disorders in endocrinology
- Discuss the indications and consequences of new interventional therapeutic procedures
- Undertake board simulation question and answers
