The Office of Continuing Medical Education, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The American Board of Surgery Maintenance of Certification Program Part 2 requirements for CME states that general surgeons must complete a minimum of 30 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and 50 hours overall each year. For vascular surgeons, a minimum of one-half of CME credits must be in vascular surgery.
