Learning Objectives


At the completion of this program, participants will have a greater knowledge of:
  • Current concepts and recent advances in diagnostic radiology;
  • The techniques of ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and interventional radiology;
  • Interventional modalities and their appropriate uses;
  • Pathophysiological mechanisms underlying human disease;

Credit Designation


UCSF designates this educational activity for a maximum of 43 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim commensurate with the extent of their participation in this activity.

These credits are inclusive 5 of ultrasound and 3 of breast imaging.

Nurses: For purpose of recertification, the American Nurses Credentialing Center accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit issued by organizations accredited by the ACCME.

Technologists: This program is approved for AMA-CMA credit and will be accepted toward meeting the continuing education requirements of the ASRT. Technologists may report 43 ECE points in Category B if they listen to the entire program.

Release Date: June 30, 2006
Credits Expire: June 30, 2009

CME credit is obtained upon successful completion of a program evaluation. A $30 processing fee must accompany the completed evaluation.
